chair's comments The New Year got off to a fantastic start. If you were not able to attend our Coronation, you missed a memorable evening. In addition to partying with our fellow Enneadians and members of other Carnival Krewes, we announced our Royal Court for 2007. Our Court is comprised of King Jerry Michie and Queen Barbara Lyons; Duchesses Janice Casey, Susan Hanlon, Robie Hoffman, and Shirley Lawson; and, Dukes Don Chenault, Jim Crawford, Michael Huey, and Bill Hunt. And the Flagman is (drum roll, please) Billy Britton. This is an AWESOME Court. |

As always, the Coronation was a massive undertaking. Many friends of Ennead made this event happen. The Krewe thanks all of you who pitched in and helped to “git ‘er done”.
Like every other month, Ennead’s
social calendar is packed for February. Please pay particular heed to
the Mardi Gras party to be held on Friday, February 16. More details on
this party and other activities are elsewhere in the Newsletter.
The Board is attempting to provide
the membership enough time to plan their social schedules. Joyce
Hufford and Vickie Rivers have worked hard to plan our monthly parties
as far in advance as possible. Every little detail cannot be resolved
months ahead of time. So, understandably some adjustments may be
necessary as we get closer to each party. In addition to being listed
in the Newsletter, dates of future parties are also on the Ennead
website. If you have not visited our website, I suggest that you do
so. The website address is
