    Chair's Comments

What a wonderful and challenging year is coming up for Ennead.  Thank you for the opportunity to serve as Chairman.   It is fun to give back to the organization that has given me so much pleasure.

To my fellow elected members, I thank you for the tremendous honor and responsibility with which you have entrusted me. First of all I want to thank the previous board members for their loyal, dedicated service to our Krewe.

To the newly elected members of the Board I also want to congratulate you once again on your successful elections.  I extend my thanks to the members for your confidence in us.  We will not let you down.

Not much has happened since I took over in August.  Let me point out some opportunities for us.  The September party is going to be at a fun location, McClain Gordon’s “Hound Dog Ranch” in Moscow, Tennessee.  What fun to have a picnic on a 300 acre ranch formerly owned by Elvis and Vernon Presley.  The date is Saturday, September 20.  The time is from 2:30 until 8:00 p. m.  See this newsletter for details.

My goodness, what a wonderful fall! We have our annual Halloween party, New Members Party and the Christmas Gala!  We are going to have an awesome year!

My door is always open.   Please try to join a committee.  If you have any thoughts, I will be glad to hear from you.

    I love all of you.

    Robie
