Treasure Hunt Party!

Good News, Bad News

Good Morning (or afternoon depending upon when you read this),

First, the Good News.  Ennead has been; Ennead is; and, most importantly, Ennead will continue to be a great organization and the best Krewe in Carnival Memphis.

Charles Crumby, Ennead Chairman

Charles Crumby
Ennead Chairman

More Good News.  The membership, after thoughtful consideration, has elected a very strong and competent Board of Directors.  Each Board Member is committed to maintaining the high standards that our Krewe has held since its inception.  Each Board Member will do and vote for what is best for Ennead.  That is your Board's collective and individual commitment to each Ennead Member.

Now for the Bad News.  Your Board does not have a single - no, not even one - mind reader within its group.  For YOUR Board to be effective in initiating new activities, making any changes, etc., your Board must have input from the members.  Your Board is not on a mission to change Ennead.  But, the Directors are receptive to new ideas.  The Board members are here to represent you, and to bring your ideas/suggestions to the Board for consideration and implementation where feasible.

Bottom Line - Please get involved.  If you have an idea, jot it down and give/email it to a Board Member or tell it to one of the Directors.  Also, if you are asked to serve on a committee, please do so.  If you are not asked and want to be on a committee, then volunteer.  The work of Ennead is not done by our Fairy Godmother.

In closing, I am honored to have been elected your Chairman.  I shall do at all times what your Board believes to be in the best interest of Ennead.

Charlie
